Thanks David. They are ordered.
This place rocks.
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

When you coming to Savannah I might try to go watch you learn how to drive on those new racing shoes. We need up dated pics of those tires too.

That would be a good thing. Can't have too much crew. You thinking about bringing something to run? You'd have a blast. 10 am, March 18th, Hutchinson Island, Paddock area of the old track.

Hutchinson Island is located across the Savannah River, immediately north of downtown Savannah.
From I-95 exit onto I-16 East toward downtown Savannah. Take the exit for US 17 to Hardeville. This will lead you to and over the Talmadge Bridge. The entrance to Hutchinson Island is from the right lane only at the South Carolina end of the bridge. Follow the access road toward the Westin Resort hotel. When you reach the hotel entrance, turn left onto Resort Drive. Follow this to the T, turn left. Follow this road less than 1/2 mile and you will reach the entrance to the paddock area and the registration desk.
From US 17 (from Hardeeville, Bluffton, Hilton Head, etc.) turn left onto Hutchinson Island at the foot of the Talmadge Bridge. Follow the directions above once on the island.
I should be there ozzie looking foward to meeting you and your car.

Here's a peek. New camera, you know.
They are a smidge narrower and 3/4" taller than the 195-55-15's I now call my "street tires."
Need to blow off the drive. I'll bet the yard looks bad too.

Ozzie I had a blast. That ghia of yours looked great going around the track. I am going to see if I can get that 8 mm film on CD so I can post a video of you and your car. You got me wanting to build a car just to race with you. Let me know when the next race is near by. Air Cooled Racers are cool. I'd like to see a turbo on that ghia.

David, thanks for being there. The folks in the SCCA are a good bunch, but it was a refreshing day to be able to hang out with somebody who understands ACVW as opposed to the new computer controlled store-bought race cars we saw out there. Your friends were cool too. We've got to get them all involved.
If you can get the vid, way cool. I sent you the ones that Zack took. Not very telling, so short & low Q, but the boy was proud of them. That's the best part.

Chance says he is going to run his Drag Bug it ought to be a site for sure. Especially with no front brakes Oh be sure to bring some stickers too.

Ok I didn't know that. Should I tell him or let him find out on his own? We could all get a good laugh out of him. Do they allow the use of turning brakes?

Please tell him first! It's a drag to get there and have them tell him he can't run. He can run cutting brakes if he wants, but trust me he won't have the time to think about it!
Sorry to hi-jack this thread Oz.
Did you figure out what do do with the plug heat range?
Can anyone tell us what the lowest range is to the highest? I've found something about this in the Dellorto Superformance book, but I can't remember. Greg
