Before Trends was pulled by Primedia.. they ran an incredible article on STOCK wiring diagragms and color coding.

They had an incredible outline of which exact color tracer went where.

I may have an in for buying tons of back issues for you folks.

QUESTION..

Does anyone know the month of the magazine article? It it had a splittie bus on the cover.1

Its in my garage right now, in the desk/filing area. I will look tonight if I dont see a response answering this for you. I filed this one for easy access right away.

A ton of issues huh? Mine has been growing, just got another stack from the late 70's onto 80. That was HOT VW's and dunebuggies. Unfortunately my Trends/HVW's rag collection lapsed a couple times over the years. I did manage to get a few from the early years. Might even have a Cal look issue with the cop measuring the front of a VW, remember that one?

Oh well, the issue is buried somewhere.

But, being the color geek I am I found the pages color copied in the desk!

VW Trends October 2002....pgs. 57-59.

Glad I made this copy. I bet I did it so I wouldn't soil the issue up while out in the garage.
