Sorry, my mistake on the question. Lack of sleep and cheap beer.
The subject was OHC not OHV like I was asking about.
Is there a "blank" cam (with no lobe's) in the case to run the pump and keep oil flowing to the proper places like a stock type engine would?
I am firmiler with OHC engine's a little, but trying to figure how to "convert" I guess is what is puzzling me with the oil system and all.
Sorry for the silly question's but I really am wanting to figure this one out.

Well you could machine a blank cam up or leave the stock cam in .
This is one I made earlier and is for sale right now

So you did the work you're self on this?
I have been around VWs ad been a gear head all of my 37 year's of life but have never thought of anything like this, I am really blown away.
What is the complete detail of the conversion?
I am planing in the next couple of year's ($$$$$$) building a play engine for my new project car and probably be close in cost as my race engine at $8000.00 plus.
And with that kind of power the cost might go down depending on the "conversion" factor of it for the head's.

Just bought back my old dragster engine last week for the 2nd time in nearly 30 years.
This time it stays with me.
It will be fully renovated including the car which was never sold and is still mine since its birth 1978.
I will add a small feature which it did not have before, a Whipple supercharger.
Induction by Hilborn or electronics is not decided but it will run E85 or straight methanol.
My objective is just nostalgic with one run at the local dragstrip and a visit or two to the VW meetings were they would allow me to run.
