Wing Windows

Need to replace the wing window rubbers on my 72 Super. Do you just drill out the rivet at the top.....Also what kind of rivet do you use to replace it with...Will a standard rivet gun work ok? Looks like a spacer is between the two to let the window open and close easily??????????Thanks

I have a DVD from California Pacific JBugs that shows him drilling out the factory rivet and then he sticks a regular rivet in the hole, slides on a washer, and then applies the rivet.
