I can't get my door handles to work. They are ok when I install them to open and close the doors but when I go to lock them, they won't work. Is it cuz they'ra cheap EMPIs or am I screwing up? The key won't turn them. Think it's just an oiling issue?
try squirtin white grease in the key cylinder n try again. if that dont work, check inside the door at your locking rods, they may not be attached or they maybe jammed.you should be able to work them inside . push n pull method.
Thanks for posting, supa74. The mechanism in the door seems ok. I can work it with my finger. In/out to open the door. Up/down to lock/unlock. I will try the white grease on everything.
