Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Trick photography.
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

Done lol.... once i finish the front bumper and skid plate. I have cnc hanging pedal assembly to instale. 16 gallon fuel cell, new mastercraft seats. spare tire mount, and the biggest thing left is the new motor. I have a 2.0 subaru turbo. on an engine stand ready to go in the car. then i get to think of a color to paint the thing. but i think i see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Got a deal on the tires did ya, love it when that happens. Why sticken with a 1600? Hate to say it but you are going to feel underpowered in the sand, that there stuff just sucks the juice right out of an engine.

The motor rebuild only cost me $80 the parts where given to me new still in the box. this motor only has to last me one season, next summer my 2.0 turbo subaru is going in the car. I just don't have the money right now to finish that motor. I'm shopping for a house.

Good reason. You probably already have it but 2088bob and myself along with whoever wants to chime in are going to do a wiring harness thread for the subie conversion, out of the car to a running engine without all the BS.

Uh oh... You do realize that after you buy a house, your time and money that you think you don't have know become a reality that you don't have them, right???
