A question or 2 if I may
I dont see you mentioned after market EFI are you still using the VW DJ system :?:

Thanks
Pierre
Tanks!

I use a slightly modified DJ system, larger injectors volvo 218cc in the custom fuelrails, a 1:1,2 progressive Fuelpressureregulator from malpassi.

I have adjusted the spring in the stock AFM by tension it five clicks and i run about 4,5bars of fuelpressure.

I runs a bit to ritch when its cold but after just 500meters driving it works fine.

The new best ET from last week is 13.19s on 402m and 8.29 on 201m. This time drove on M/T et streets

Hi Rydh
What turbo from wich Volvo did you use

What do you think will be the benefit advantage of programmable injection timing and fuel ratios over the stock system :?:
Thanks

Nice buggy you´ve got there!

The turbo is a Mitsubishi TD04-13c from a Volvo 940 Turbo, but any 13c, 15g 16t fron 850turbo (ore another garret T25 etc)would work just as fine i guess.

I was thinking of installing a vems ore autronic system and larger injectors and run it on E85 ethanol (easily available in sweden) but since this system works so nice I´ve put those plans asside.

whith the stock DJ you must run high impedance injectors thow, larger injectors are a bit more common in tho low impedance type.

I don´t think that my 100% stock never opened engine(ore clutch and stock typ1 tranny) can tacke mutch more power than the 175 it´s putting out now otherwise Ethanol and a standalone system would probably give mee 200+ hp with the same compressionratio.

Probably this winter the buggy will rest since I´m in the process of buying a house
