Fog light switch wiring

Post by yavuzsev »

Last year I installed fog lights, and done wiring by myself. I have original 3 way switch. They work fine but today I find something new in Haynes manual. According to Haynes, fog light switch power terminal has to be connected to terminal 57 on headlight switch. Most headlight switches don't have terminal 57. Terminal 57 gives juice only in parking lights position. So parking lights has to be on for operating fog lights, and if you switch to low/high beams, fog light will go off. Does anyone have factory installed fog light? Is it like this originally? Which one has to light up first? Rear fog light or front fog lights?
