yea Tako about 25 years worth and enough to steer you away from it

You will not be satisfied and it stands up very poorly in a vehicle we use this stuff only to premark our harnesses when we lay out a harness we use these till the harness is completely in place and as we terminate we install the permanent numbers

With a fine marker.. they also can become 8.. 6.. and 9

Tim

We could work up something for the adhesive labels...;. would need some text for them.. guessing they'd be $1 shipped.

this cloth covered wire may not stand up to well in an offroad environment the colors tend to fade very quickly when exposed to sun light the cloth covered stuff would be a poor choice for our cars its meant more for the period correct restoration crowd

bob, any hints on labeling wires? do you label every single wire? at both ends? label per wire or circuit?

Tako every wire ,both ends ,and then also do a written description of what it does . eg wire 19 comes off of fuse 3 goes to turn signal flasher , wire #20 goes from output of turn signal flasher to the center pin of the turn signal switch , wire #21 goes from the right contact of the turn signal switch to terminal block one where it splits to go to the front and rear right turn signal bulbs and so on and so on word of advice here PATIENCE !

the above is what referred to as a written or verbal schematic which believe it or not the greatest majority of my customers prefer, and ask for,
and why my one color wire system works so well.my shop work is split 75% one color and 25% multi color and now some of the people that ask for multicolor are now also asking for numbers and written schematics for the layman it makes things easier to trouble shoot
