Sealing liners

Post by 1303wasserbug »

I'm in the middle of building up my new wasserboxer turbo engine and am wondering what's best thing to use sealing the liners to case? Should i use a smear of sealent? If so whats best? Same on liner to head. Thanks

I was always told to use the black o ring and then a small smear of the special head glue.
Use a Scotch-Brite to ensure the case sealing surfaces are spotless.

Hi Fastback

Specially loged on tonight to Ask the Question 1303wasserbug has ask

What is the thick ness of the Copper gesket we must use :?: Can we make these gaskets our selfs coz things are sometimes very difficould to find here in Safari country  and are there different softness of copper available :?:

Sorry for all the questions but we newbies would make it up by Keeping the WBX name High :D
