Getting My Link Pin Spindles Rebuilt

Post by spongeworthy »

Hey everyone.

I've been dragging my heels with the rebuilding of my link pin front end in my '57 Baja.

The modified beam has been bolted back in the car along with the torsion arms. I will be replacing the seals in the Porsche ZF steering box this week.

I still need to get my spindles rebuilt. The guys at McKenzies off-road recommended 407 Speed Shack, but those guys don't answer their phone, return voice mails or reply to email messages. I've made 2 attempts at each.

Anyway...I know there are many places that can rebuild my spindles (modified Porsche 356B). Does anyone have a good recommendation of a shop her in Orange County, CA? I plan to use the heavy duty off-road link pins for the rebuild.
