lets see those dashs!

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

That might of been the ride at the Sandssports show - the whole aluminum body was some REALLY inpressive sheet metal skills. I kept wiping the drool off my chin while I was checkin' it out!

The A-Arm fabrication was pretty cool at the show as well. Hardly a beam car to be found...

This is the temporary dash. It just seems to get more complicated.

its an old Micky Thompson Shifter actually...

looks cool, but shifts like crap... its been replaced by a Scat Drag-Fast...

I still have the M/T one though.... its too cool to just toss, and i'm hoping to find someone with rebuild instructions and or a mod that would make this one work nicely.

Nice and simple... Took the dash pad off and added the block off plate and ash tray from an earlier bug and some guages.

John has a nice Baja, super clean, close the doors on it and you would think it was a Audi it sounds so nice. He was running dirt tires out in the dunes and ya always turn around and he was right there 8)

Only after you install it. By the way, do they still make that brand of Ale?

took me a few tries to see the ale, couldn't get my eyes off that wiring! I'll mail you mine and you can do it up, right?
give a man a watch and he'll allways know what time it is. give him two and he can never be sure again.

Things are rarely just crazy enough to work, but they're frequently just crazy enough to fail hilariously.
