Anyone put 944 rear trailing arms on their bug?

For road racing, autocrossing, or just taking that curve in style. Oh yea, and stopping!

I just put mine in, and they fit good. Did you take all of the old bushings out? I took a few pics, i'll try to post them as soon as the battery recharges!

When I got the arms they didn't have any bushings in them - just bare aluminum arms. The problem is that the beetle bushings are smaller in diameter than the 944 turbo arms bores.

Ahh, I see, looks like there should be a metal sleeve that should be there that yours is missing. if you want give me your email, and I'll get you some pics of what it should look like. cudabnu (at) yahoo (dot) com

Its been awhile since I did mine but I think Cudabnu is correct. The 944's did have metal cup in them(less wear on the aluminum arm?).

So I guess I need the two piece metal cups that are part of the bushing set. Like these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche- ... ccessories

Correct, that is what you need, when I pulled the bushings out, those metal sleeves stayed in the arms
