Wow! Thats a bold move to cut and reweld alu trailing arms.
Then again, I drag raced welded (also alu) rims
You said you wanted to retain the stock porsche geometry, but the angle the pivot now points to (straight forward), seems to greatly alter the geometry. Bit ladder bar like set-up you are creating iof you know what I mean? I think you're set-up probably doesn't change camber much when going up or down, more straight-line orientated? Interesting, but really like to hear your thinking or considerations behind this!
BTW, as far as I know, type 1 CV's are referred to as 90mm. Stock once are hopeless from n/a 2,4ltr type 4's onwards. So from 200+Nm torque, you are done with stock CV's. Not sure if there are upgraded stock sized CV's?
I like the coil. Might be an idea for twin spark as well. I also run the DTA S60 and I now run dual wasted coils, so instead of 2 sparks, I have 4 sparks firing at once. It still works (again, after I used the extra ground of the ecu casing itself), but I can see limitations of my current set-up.
I see 6 connections. I understand 5 (4 triggers, 1x 12V), but whats the 6th terminal for?
