I just sent Chris a note to gauge his interest. If we could get both the heads and alternate exhaust on the dyno at the same time, things would be good. Please let me know if there are any additional items we should add on during this phase-- i.e., new RAT pulley, larger sump or dry sump set-up, production version of bell crank linkage, alternate throttle bodies, alternate gearing, etc. The fresh air intake system will also be added while the engine is out, so the trip back will be a good temperature/performance/police intrigue test.
Regards, Dave

I have one of Chris's systems (actually one of each) that we use for dyno work (so we do not have to use the customers and usually bake the coating off of it) all we'd need of your system is the muffler and stub pipes. Chris and I do this quite a bit and can work the logistics out between ourselves...
All the things you want to do as upgrades will be no issue. The throttle bodies may not need to be swapped as your combo might want them with the new heads, just like it did with the old ones- only the dyno will tell us.
The gearing can be swapped no problem.
we'll talk about dry sump, it would be a good way to go with the way you drive the car!

dave, I'll see what we can do to keep your heads on the lower side of the volume range. For a little more money Len might be able to make them the same ccs, or atleast close to what you have now.
the standard size is 57cc, so it'll take some work on Len's behalf to get thema bit tighter.
Wityh that cam I'd like to see you around 9.5;1, the 10.3:1 you are running is even better1

Jake,
Charles told me you included the LE200 heads in my engine kit...I really want to thank you for this concession since my kit was ordered with the 7456 (NLA) heads. It is obvious that my decision about sticking with you guys (LN, RAT and HAM) was the wisest decision made on my engine.
At some point in the near future I want to fuel inject my engine, and will definitely buy your kit. I would like, though, that it be plenum fed much like the OE FI system in the 914. I am hoping that something could be made that uses the OE air box with (larger) runners to each cylinder. Could this be possible?

Ricky,
Yes, you got quite a bit of free headwork and so did a few engine shop customers and 5 other engine kit customers...
I have a planum for your engine, we just finished a 2615 that utilized it and made 213 lb/ FT of torque and about 190HP. The engine was not set up for HP because it went into a Squareback wiuth an auto tranny..

Could you quote the complete set that would be compatible with my engine? So I can put it on TO DO list and budget for it.
BTW...I posted another thank you note on the 914club.com site as well.
