Yea i didnt even leave the ground...but they were the avis style ones. The "teeth" (circled here) just stipped almost off when the suspension compressed hard.

I havnt taken a picture, but my front end is kissing the ground

You know penguin, it seems you really like to put people down.
The beam was free, Im on a budget, so guess what, it was an easy fix for me. Unfortunately, you were right about them being weak. But when you are right about something, you can at least have some respect and not shove someones face in it.

am i mean? yes i kind of am, im a very opinionated person and you have no idea how funny it is to see a topic like this, like right after i told not to. trust me ive dont it to, i think the only sound advice i havent listed to is my wheel adapters :). same thing with the seats, i dont want to sound like a jerk but what i said about them was true, i knew that because in our shop sits a brand new pair of them with a matching center console, why? becuase they suck. and it was the same with the adjusters.

Where's Captain Understatement when you need him....

You dis on people's stuff more than you hand out any type of sound advise. And then, when you "happen" to get it right (once out of many), you run around breaking your frickin' arm trying to pat yourself on the back...

Real class act, there...

Rico, do you need another beam or are you going to keep using that one?

I have a few BJ beams laying around.

Thanks for the offer but ive got 2 the one with the adjusters and the stock one. I think that i cut and turn the stock one and maybe put the screw type adjusters in the other beam. Then I can decide which one i like better.

My last beam had the adjusters posted above (not the Avis style ones) They took a pretty good beating, but they ended up bending that bracket thing and then they shoved the threaded rod down thought the jamb nuts.
My new beam is cut and turned and I don't know anybody that has had that fail, but I'll probably be the first :D

because they were designed to off road with, the avis ones were designed for lowering, look at how the leverage on those adjusters would change from the lifted position to the lowered position. im suprised you even broke those dave.

I have front adjusters but they don't look like either one of those...

Mine has like four bolts pinching the beam together in the center and two allen bolts with jam nuts on the outside. To adjust you loosen the four bolts and the jam nuts. Then you rotate the allen bolts to raise and lower the front end. Anyone know what I am talking about? I can't get a good pic with the shark mouth on the car. I may have an older pic....I will look.
