I think its gonna be one of those things that just kinda talks to ya..... Its funny tho, I was at work today wondering why after all these years someone has not stepped up and made a new generation of air-cooled wheels. The way I figure it there has to be 5 sets of empi 8s for every "fat chic" left in the world.
We're too freakin cheap..

Randars were the best hope we had - I was a day late and fourteen hundred dollars short.

I noticed you plan on running bumpers on it. Do they sell a widened set of cal-lookers or are you gonna stretch a set? I can't wait to see this one done, your car is gonna look so good.

2x on the randars, those are some nice wheels. :!:

Not really an update, just wanted to share some "progress". Something Tuffluck said back in Feb had me thinking for the past few months:

So I picked up these cookie cutters. 6" fronts on top, 7" rears on the bottom in brown paper. I believe they are 944 wheels.

Just need to find a set of wolfsburg center caps in (James Bond voice) polished.......not chrome.

Tuffluck, if you are still active, you have PM.

Later

So you think your project is taking forever eh? Well you've got nothing on me.....
