well these cam's are on the limit.
i have 2 experiences with the TCS-cams(which is a W110 intake and W100 exhaust)
with stock type 4 diameter lifters

Tcs-10 on solid luba-a-lobe ~8000km medium sign's of wear. no sucess
Tcs-10 on NOS hydros bad wear after break-in

And a friend had one bad experience:
Tcs-10 on stock lifters(not shure if these were hydros or solid) no sucess.

Maybe tolerances in machinig the lifterbores vs cam alignment, base circle of cam etc makes a matter, but it can never be mentioned to o ften that cam/lifter geometry always must be checked for every build

Well apparently when the tired junk yard wasser hits 10 lbs of boost, suddenly the front mounted vanagon heater core fills the cabin with water. A 1.8 GLI engine and flywheel adapter was handy from a baja.
Going through tech inspection;

He claims that it is an improvement in power and smoothness, I see a hole in the deck lid for the belt as this style engine has the camshaft above the crankshaft.

Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.

flag, here's a 120 on w/boxer lifter, not good..

and here's a C35 on a T1 lifter, i have run the C35 on solid w/boxer lifters, but in a turbo race car, i had no wear problems with that, and it did what i wanted it to do, but it had a dry sump system and oil jets etc, and only operated at high revs.

This is buildaBB's other pic. Really bad edge interference there, not a workable match by a long shot:

So the best would be to fit sleeves and use type 1 lifters
