I made it snug but didn't go too crazy on it. Plus, there's pretty much equal pressure coming from all around it...

brought the wheel to a A/C shop and they silver soldered (brazed) the pulley to the trigger wheel - it's not going anywhere now :)

I'll run it like this to see if it's working but eventually I'll bring it to the shop to get balanced when I have a free moment.

Just thought I'd post an update that the trigger wheel is working nicely. I haven't had a chance to post the pictures of the welded and balanced trigger wheel, but I'll try to get the pix up in the near future.

I do seem to have a hiccup at idle once in a while, but I think that's either noise on the line or some software setting - I'll need to do some research to make sure all of my shielding is good. Other than that, I'd recommend this mod to anyone that's looking to install a trigger wheel on their T4!

Oh, just thought I'd mention that I got rid of the hiccup. I had inadvertently let the main wiring harness for the MS run over the spark plug wires and that was causing all sorts of sync issues. I zip-tied the harness to the roof of the engine bay and it purrs like a kitten.
