my goal is to be able to take it on thanksgiving to jawbone. I dont even know if that is realistic or not but im going to try my hardest. I think early october ill be taking 6 weeks off work and if i can get a baby sitter for a few days a week so i can get in the garage and go to town on it i think ill have a good shot at it. there will be things that ill be doing to cut some time off, like using a stock fuel tank for now. Ill eventually want to make a custom tank that will hold as much as it can under the hood.
wish me luck, and ill keep updating as i wrench away.

Good looking progress on the baja turbo66! The world needs more turbo bajas
. My first set of wheels was a '66 baja too, and it got me in trouble pretty quick as well
.
I wanted to keep my back seat open so I made the best use I could of the stock tank and location. Here's a link to my fuel tank build. It's easier than it might look, and I can tell you have the skills to pull it (or something like it) off.

Good luck getting that beast off-road worthy with a youngster on the way! Keep on wrenchin'

They look like they have some bite to them, and they are round and black. What size are they?turbo66 wrote:got me some new tires today! what do you guys think? not sure how they do in sand or dirt but i got a deal i couldnt pass up.
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.
