VERY nice!
How do you like the straight-cut cam gears in street driving? Are they noticely more noisy at 100-120 km/h on the highway?

hi Walter.
As I stated on the engine conversion for more than 4 years ago, I only had this car, dayli driver 157 hk / 237 nm. The engine has driven 37.000 km, before it went apart.
but now it is only to drag race.
The straight-cut cam gears is very noise............. but it sounds good

What's the torque like on the engine. Is this crank counter weighted.Wally wrote:

The torque is 233nm at 6195rpm.
The crank has counter weighted, see picture !. (dpr crank)
My next motor project will be 66 X 105mm= 2286 ccm, and running about 8000-9000 rpm.
Think that can be great fun.................

Hey Kiel, what size valves are you running? they look a bit bigger than 48/40...

Think the cam vill be hand made from jpm motorsport, and the heads vill be "bus heads", together whit jpm flow tester.
