this may be a stupid question, but why not properly jet the secondaries then install a FOGGER NOS system and you'll be running the correct AF all the time? That IS why jets are changable, right?

I AGREEEEEEE! Do it right and you MIGHT have a problem. Do it the cheapest way possible and you WILL have a problem.

OK, OK. I admit it. The 40 shot was a bit over the top. I still think that a dry 25 shot set up properly would be a real kick in the pants and not adversly affect the engine. Remember that this is a progressive carb, the kind KadortoDave uses for shot putting. The mains are rich, epsecially on the secondary. At WOT and 2500 RPM the secondary main is already squirting fuel out, and so is the tail pipe. Sure I could tune it down where it should be, and in the primary I probably will. But if it's already providing enough fuel in the secondary for 25 extra horses why not try to use that fuel I'm spraying out the tailpipe?

What exactly is a fogger system and what are the differences between it and what you would see on say... a 92 camaro(OTHER than four less injectors!!!)

Also, how much would a 100 shot fogger run? I think that would definitely give this bug some wings!
Thanks,
Cale

A fogger system mixes fuel and nitrous in one injector-type jet and mists it into the manifold or runners under high pressure (thus "fog").
Cameros can use a fogger, but often those "systems" use a dry nitrous shot (dry meaning nitrous only, no fuel in the mix) and an electronic box that tells the stock fuel injectors to open longer, or increases the fuel pressure so more fuel is added during the normal injector duration. Many late-model EFI nitrous kits use the dry system with a CPU adjuster rather than a seperate nitrous/fuel system.
The most common way to run nitrous in any carberated engine is to run a wet system, fuel and nitrous, such as the fogger system.
Look at Summit or Jegs for nitrous packages and costs.
