I have devised a testing methodoligy that I use on my race cases. I would be happy to forward it to anyone wanting to measure one of these new cases. Some machining/inspection skills, precision tools, a milling machine, and a granite surface plate are needed to do it right. e-mail me and I can walk you through it if interested. [email protected]

Just so you guys know, I STRONGLY discourage the use of shuffle pins. they hold things so well, if anything "moves" it snaps off the main web in the case, I've seen it a lot. I feel it's better to save your $ and not have the case break.

I'm not sure what you mean by no thru bolts Jake? Check out this pic.

The original ARPM 2 piece case used thru bolts(6-12mm bolts)instead of main studs like the factory cases. This was to relieve the main webs of the added strain of higher RPMs and it is used in all the aftermarket cases used today exept the new aluminum cases.

A word of warning for all regarding these ally cases. The heat treat on the aluminium is wrong, the manufacturers Autolinea/Hubner are aware of this problem but rather than melt down and recast they unloaded a couple of containers full to 2 importers in the USA,heat treating the cases cannot be done after final machining ,they have other problems too such as the pressure relief galleys are oversize and the oil pickup pipe is loose.I suspect there will be a lot of disappointed people out there-Do the importers offer any kind of guarantee????

If you're going to put down the product, at least have the balls to register and have an email.

All these things are what I will be testing for, I have a metallurgist doing the homework for me..

Most definately the non through bolt case will be the death of these engine cases,I WANT to break one, and know I can succeed.
