To answer your question- Yes, I plan on selling them to John to keep on his shelf.....If he can keep them there or not we'll see about. I'm not seklling them outside the states, so that will increase the demand for international customers to purchase from him.
In the world of custom parts it is common to pay for items totally up front.. Heck sometimes customersI have never heard of send me an engine with a 5,000.00 check inside, and never even call me till I'm finished- They trust me.
Small businesses like mine must do things in batches to make a decent profit off of anything, so sometimes that requires waiting around.
I hope one day to have shrouds on the shelf, all boxed up and ready to go. Will it happen?Probably not, since the demand is so high already and the site is not even up, and the Type 1 DTM isn't even in production yet! PLUS I STILL BUILD ENGINES!
I hope to just receive a small deposit to initiate the orders and then be paid in full when the kit is shipped, thats how I work most of my engines, we'll see how it works but right now I'm trying to recoup some of my thousands of bucks invested to get the production high enough to keep the kits on the shelf.
As for being sick or whatever and not being able to get one finished......well I have to be sick as a dog not to be at work(hell I have passed out in the floor for a 35 minute period before waking up and going back to work)......
as far as running away with your money, well that won't happen either, lived on the same property (off of Raby Drive) all my life. If I say I'll do something,I do it. If I sell you something you'll receive it, and I don't care what I have to do to make that happen.

(If you can/will ship to the uk in the next 12 months or so). The silver one also sounds good, but would need to see pictures first.
