I don't remember the spring rate. Price includes the spring and they will exchange springs one time free if needed.

Could you give a good run down on what you did to make your rear suspension work and where you got the parts? And how someone else would have to go about it to do the same? Thanks man, Mike

The trailing arms and brakes are from a 1988 Porsche 944. The coilover part was all fabed in my garage. I don't know how well it will work since I haven't got to fire it up yet. I will just keep my fingers crossed.

What is the advantage of using the 944 trailing arms instead of the Beetle ones? also, how much work is involved in moving the tranny forwards on the frame? (doesn't sound like much fun) I'm trying to decide which engine to go with, 13b or a suby, thanks

I used the 944 arms to get the disk brakes with minimal work. Moving the trans forward is a major job. The tunnel was cut forward by 5 inches. This removes the center part of the torsion tubes. I went to a coilover rear suspension. Lots of work and fabricating of parts. I am using the Porsche 901 trans which is longer than the bug trans, I think.
