Yep, maybe... BUT the expansion rates are different than a Type I due to the materials that comprise the TI.
The 356 had equal length studs, and used a sunken lower boss that allowed it to work with special nuts.

Are the headstuds going to be relocated so they are more symetrical (square instead of rectangular), like the type I? It seems like they would be more turbo friendly if they were.

they'll be staying where they are...
One set of my heads will be a 100% replacement for stock, the others will be set up to run a special set of encapsulated stud Nickies and a different head sealing method.

These use a custom nut type deal. The expansion rate of the head itself should not be an issue. If the studs are the same length, the clamping loads are equal.

The materials used for heads and cylinders change the need for the studs to expand with heat..
Those nuts sound like the 356 nuts..
BTW, some engines we run LESS head torques than stock..
