Jake, I'd guess that it's very efficient, and that has a lot to do with those characteristics, as well as the high compression screwing around with the timing. Of course I'm not telling you anything you don't know.
RIMCO called today. My case is ready. WOO HOOOOOOOOOO
Now if Chuckie Cheese will send me my lifters, I'll make the Honda boyz cry.
I'm real interested (aka INVESTED as you know) in knowing how your tuning goes Jake, as you and I ought to have very similar results. My compression ought to be a little higher, and I am on 86b/114 which is probably different from you (what are you doing there btw?).

I didn't follow the 86B route.... I like 1:1 cams.
This one is a 164+5/164+2.5 on a 114 retarded 5 degrees. The 164 is a Kawasaki master- the lobe has a very odd appearance, its flat on top of the nose!
I went my own way on the cam, and after alot of math I got it to open 10 degrees before the 86B and still clear the dome..
BUT my valves are little tiny suckers at 41x35.5, but its got honkin ports courtesy of DRD...
we'll see what it does! Today I'm just wanting to see how the shroud does with my changes since the last dyno test, thatss really all that matters right now!

SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY.....can't make it
. I have to work while there is money to be made. It would be a great time as always and would probably give me a chance to get my engine home but that will have to wait till Wednesday.
You can brag on my engine all you want. It will sound better from you anyway.

DAY-YUM!
YOu sure that cam gear is clocked right?

But really, does it FEEL like it's making power?
This engine has the SS pistons, eh?
I really don't know a lot about tuning for those....

What about the SOUND? Does it sound like *tearing linen*?
