Pictures of your pooch!

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Well, the little guy pulled through an attack by 3 dogs on the 30th. The biggest one was a pitbull and pulled out of a pronged choker collar to get at him. The other 2 dogs are little more than pups, but decided they would join in. They just about ripped all his skin off. The 2 drain tubes allow fluid to drain so that the skin can reattach to the tissue under it. The neighbor said that they will pay for the vet bills. I'll believe it when I see it. The son-in-law of the dogs owners thought he would take all three dogs for a walk with all three leashes in one hand while drinking some coco with the other. Who would be out at 10pm anyway? The dogs went nuts as soon as they saw my dog and he lost control. My wife and 2 daughters (4 and 8yo) walking him were unharmed. I'll give credit to the little dog for taking all the attention in the attack. He's freaked out big time today and won't go outside and is bleeding through the drain tubes all over the house. He's not the same dog at the moment. Sorry, had to vent a little.

Sh!tty deal Lotrat... glad he's ok though.

Rough couple days for the hounds I guess...
Poop just made himself "worth" another $800 this morning... Our fire pit bit him. Its deeper than it looks in the pic, or it would have been a superglue extravaganza at my house...

Youre showing much more restraint than I probably would Lotrat.

Best wishes for yours and Motor's "kids".

Today we got to visit our new puppy for the first time! She is only 3-1/2 weeks old at this point, so another 3-4 weeks before she can come home with us. She has a white spot on her chest that looks like an 1/8th note (musical symbol), so the daughter (a cellist) is thrilled about the marking! We haven't named her yet, but it will probably have a musical meaning in there somewhere...

Don't mind the ugly one holding her...

Here is the whole litter of 5...

We can't wait to bring her home!

So a week goes by and I don't hear anything. I go over and they say they will pay in 2 weeks. Two weeks come and go, no check, no call, nothing. These people live 150 ft from me and drive by my house everyday. I'm not the type to go begging for my money, so I send them a certified letter explaining exactly what I am going to do and gave them 48 hours to pay. Within 24 hours my vet bills are paid. In cash none the less. Some people.

The dog is doing great. Stitches are out, staples are out, drainage tubes did the trick, and his ear didn't fall off. I'm glad this is all behind us.

The baja has been in a storage lot since before Christmas. I guess I'll go get it. Any bets on if it will start?

A couple of weeks, and they sure get big! Six weeks old now, and we will get to bring her home on the 11th. You can see the 1/8th note in white on her chest. Since my daughter is majoring in music in college (she is a senior in HS now) this seems like it was just meant to be... We named her Cadence, or Cadie for short. She has blue/gray eyes...

My stupid weener dogs got in a throw down today and almost killed each other. They fought over a nickel size chunk of raw hide that was sitting behind the tv for a year. The last time they hooked up the big boy weener bit clear through my hand (thumb to main pointer finger). weeners are tough!
