I think Chip is referring to them being 3” narrow and you will have to cut your torsion housings down now. Or get longer ones.

Nice ratio chip. Mine is 3:88 with 3.33 1st and .93 fourth. I drive 65 at 3k on the freeway. I will try 18psi to start with on my cheaters. Not overly conserned with 60ft times. I'll just run you down on the top. Lol

Was sorta planning on narrowing the car anyway Mario.... Getting this setup has just confirmed it for me... It's not a street car anymore, so it's no big thing really.... But I really want to keep the car all steel..... Just because I can, and for 'shits and giggles'..... And it sounds like Shag is throwing down the challenge right there Chip.... You better make this race happen one day you too!!!!.... Maybe at the Bugorama or Classic next year?.... I'll come over and watch!

Finally got the car to a dyno.... No power figures on this old school dyno, just there to work on the tune....

Not a perfect session, still have a little pinging issue to sort out, but I reckon a cooler plug will sort that out.... Feels mighty strong though....

Wow, that looked sketchy. It almost drove up and off the roller. I can only image the damage that could cause driving right through the shop wall. That didn't look safe.
Nice car though!

Cool but definitely needed to be strapped down. A wheelie right through the wall would have ruined the day for sure....
The road to success is always under construction

Oh I know.... I was very nervous about it all.... But I'm glad the car is home now, safe and sound.... I love the sound of the car as the power comes on.... 12psi is a nice and solid at 3800rpm.... I'm actually amazed the little 1776 can spin the GT25 so well, especially with big bore header.

Re: The POS is a goer once more..... But....
It's been a while, so I thought I should give you guys an update.... It's been ages since I have run the car.... Many months in fact.... But last month I too the POS to the track and all went very badly.... Massive uncontrolled boost and crazy over reving.... Scared the hell out of me, so I parked the car after three very dodgy attempts with crap ET's in the low 15's.... A month later, after three events being rained out, a good dyno session and and a hard rev limiter installed in the MJLJ, I get myself to the track for the last street meet of the year....
It was packed!
Got to the track late, took ages to get through to scrutineering, though the actual scrutineering didn't take long.... The guys know the car!...... So out on the track I go..... Got three runs in all night, which sucked, but the times were pretty consistent....
13.980 at 101.80mph with very lazy 2.061sec 60'...
13.994 at 101.69mph with very lazy 2.062sec 60'...
And I can't find the last run, but it was another 13.9.....
Massive rev limiter action in three gears..... Car is still a little lean on boost, and the intake charge is way cold, but all in all, I'm very happy to have cracked 13's on my first 'good' runs.

Far from perfect, but a 2 second improvement from the last attempt is a good thing.

Re: The POS is a goer once more..... But....
The speeds suggest it should run in the 12's, but the issues are mostly down to a couple of factors... The major one being really short gears.... The other one is the rev limiter is killing the drive before I can get another gear.... And I need to learn to drive it..... I have left the redline at 6500, but moved the limiter to 6800, in the hope I can grab the gear before the limiter cuts ignition, and hope to try to launch at a lower rpm, and short shift to second straight off the line. I have also put a little more fuel in it too, to try and stop the lean condition I experienced the last time out there.
Gonna try again tomorrow night.
