Thanks guys, I'm moving along quite handily right now. We'll have a bbq/build party if I start to get antsy!

Today: clutch cable, throttle cable, new(ish) tie rods, eyeball front end alignment, speedo, speedo cable. I also did a more thorough inventory of everything I have and that which I still need after a found a box of parts that the guy gave me when I got the free body. The worst part about that was finding all the door window hardware, not a project I'm looking forward to!

Doesn't sound like much for three hours but I feel better about this project every day.

Engine bay seals in today...I had to look up how they go in, hehe. Silly full bodied sedans. I also installed the exhaust on the engine and did a few other odds and ends to get ready to install it and fire it up. Jarad's going to help me with that this weekend.

I told my mom about the surprise birthday present for my dad, she was so thrilled she didn't even ask me if it was safe to race on the Salt.

Got a boat load of parts today from the guy in the brown truck.

Shifter and short shift kit installed, shifter adjusted. Actually, I didn't adjust it, just bolted it together and it was magically in the right spot! Decklid standoffs and spring extender installed. I'm really not a fan of the look, but I didn't want to take chances with the 1776 and '67 decklid with no vents.

It's a '67 body on a '70 pan, no trunk lid needed, but I do need a spring for the engine lid if anyone has one lying around. I think any year will work. I'll take some pics of the whole car tomorrow as I plan on doing some exterior work...fenders, mirrors, doors, lights, etc. It's not much to look at it, definitely "patina". There's even graffiti on the roof from some hoodlum who tagged it while it was sitting in DeeJay's backyard....which isn't too far from JUSSUMGUY....hey, wait a minute!!!

Didn't do much today except reinstall the standoffs as I had put them on wrong and cleaned out the new fuel tank with some solvent and bolts. I'm going to have to trim the tank a bit as it doesn't quite sit down between the sides of the body.

Anyway, here are some pics taken over the last few days, you greedy bastards!

We may have a spring for the engine lid also, would have came off a '68 or '69.
I'll try to remember to look when I get home.
