Updated my daily driver a bit...

With Turbo and Super charging you can create massive horsepower with vw motors.

just burp the lines right away and it should work perfectly.

how long does install time take to shoe horn that in???? looks challanging... cant wait.. :lol:

its just a hollow factory casing around a tube I made to replicate the original. No interior vanes etc. But it DOES work.

Thanks, so it sounds like I could take my stock boxes and go to a muffler shop

and have them do the same thing? I was contemplating taking my heater box

apart to see what is involved with doing this. Is that very difficult without

destroying the heater box?

it would be easy to destroy it YES.. take your time and you will be ok, just make sure you can take the two halves apart without destroying their shape etc.

Hi Chaps. Found this on the shop talk forum. This is the bug I'm running, albeit with a different turbo engine.

Yeah. I bought the bug in the UK about 4 years ago. Its not been welded so is a keeper. Only use it in the summer what with the gritters using lots of salt over here.
Changes I've made are
New beam
Gearbox.
Engine
Rear discs
And some Brm's.

I will put some pics up Buguy. Just gotta no learn how to do it. haha. Last time Pile driver did it for me ,I just emailed him the pic and boom there it was .
