Okey, now I have received a lot of new parts for my engine, and I will post a photo of them as soon as I can. I`m sorry that I haven`t updated my thread here, but it`s hard to find enough hours since I have started my own buisness. But soon I hope to finish up my engine, feel like racing again!!

Finally I have recieved all the parts for my engine!! I will probably finish the heads this weekend, then I will post some pictures, so you guys can say your opinion about the port and seat job.
The only thing I still need to do is machining the crankcase for larger cylinders and new big foot lifters, then I finally can start assembling this 2398 ccm rallycross engine!!:-)
I'm really looking foreward to it!!

My case is now almost finished, just to machine for npt plugs, larger 12.9 bolts, and cleaning! :) Really looking foreward to put this thing together! The heads are nearly done, only to matchport the manifoilds and machine for double valvesprings. Looking very good!

I really need to take some photos for you guys, I can see what I can do... 8)

I don't think you need .500" case thru bolts and have to drill the case. A quality 10mm bolt will work as well if not better since there is no need to drill out the case.

They have aftermarket 10mm bolts in Europe that fit the Type lV case, ARP makes some, EMW even carries a 10mm Chro-Moly thru stud that is threaded on each end that is more than strong enough to work.

The larger bolts do allow for more clamping torque, but you have to remember the case is designed for only so much.

Good! I'm living in Norway, so it's easier buying from Denmark than overseas.

How many pyrometers do you guys recommend? Wich cylinder will get hottest? Maybe it`s enough with one pyrometer per side?
I thought about using this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/260399427361?ss ... 1423.l2649

ideally you would want to be able to log all 4 to see if anything was imbalanced or going south on a per-cylinder basis.

If you have MS2/MS3, the JBPerformance IOXtender is a reasonable option, one of the many options is having many TCs...
(4 CHT and 4 EGT is doable, has MANY config options)

I only have one EGT in via an error board, but the motor is almost stock other than the MS.
