Your so right Chris! It took me a while to figure that out though, I'am slow is my excusemy_medusa wrote:we welded and redrilled the holes that give me most potential to port around them. but the most restrictiv area is not around the injector holes. it is in the bow where the stupid holder for the rails is. i bet its about 26mm in square.

With a long enough 'Dremel' you might be able to reach it was my guess, but maybe for next years try

Likewise Kumpeli hope i can be there on april 28. want to meet you in person walter.
wishes.
ps: i asked jose alvarez yesterday how fast he could destroke a 69mm crank to 64mm...but i would have it in my hands in 5 weeks or later. not enough time to make a lateral entry. so still boring 1641cc twin scroll.
but i gess the gas milage would be better in your havy car than a 1200cc.

Milage with the 1200 will be one of the things that really interest me and is part of my own 'Challenge'. I hope I can do enough miles to do some measurement on mpg.
A destroked 69mm with 1600 rods would be the ultimate for strength I think in comparison to the stock 1200 crank and rods. Stronger/cheap rods can be had with the thinner 1600 journal then also.

Walter
