I make lots of stuff. e.g. gears and gearboxes.crankwalk wrote:

930/Ferrari = same part.RonW wrote:So this is Subaru to Ferrari cv joint flange? Nice. So todd makes flanges VW, Porsche 930, Ferrari 308 axles, anything else ?
It is! I got some mounts and some odds and ends from coldwater 914. It should be covered by the muffler anyway. I pulled the motor back out and tried to lay out the transmission but the frame is in the way. I don't really know any other way to get the right angle on the axles other than to weld a bar above where the back of the transmission hits then cut that out.ttriebler wrote:ewww... that is one ugly looking plate
I saw that and it's an awesome suggestion but if I have to cut something, I'd feel more comfortable with this square tubing that I can see all of rather than my expensive transmission. I'm a wuss like that. My thinking is weld a few pieces above where I need to cut by about 8 inches. Then take out that bar that is sitting on the back plate.ttriebler wrote:Take a look at how we shorten the Subaru transmissions on my website.
If you do it that way you would gain a fair few inches of room to be able to move your transmission backwards, get your axles straight and not have to cut up your chassis.
TY754 center differential housings are easier to cut down and weld up than the TY752 you have there but it is all do-able.
