You need to leave the vent open to "vent" the tank.
Best to either weld a bung on the tank somewhere for a return or go the "Tee" route at the bottom of the tank.
I'd go tee at the bottom.....mine has been trouble free for almost three seasons of turboed FI and it was cheap and easy to build.

yeah good point Clone, i'm thinking T then, might go the CB T as it will be cheaper then buying the tap and T piece i think... will look into it as i have a spare tank i can test stuff on

I went to a swap meet in the tool section and found some used pipe taps for cheap. Picked up 1/8, 1/4 3/8 and 1/2 inchers for cheap.
