It should have gone quicker but had some pretty major fuel delivery problems. Made 278whp 2 weeks before the event. Weight is heavy, all steel, full interior, plus all of the turbo support systems, intercooler, water tank, water/meth tank.
60ft was weak, high 1.6's if i remember correct. Suspension is bone stock, other than adjusters welded into the beam, and 90/10 front shocks.

Slicks or street tires???

I would say a 1.6 60 ft is pretty good since I did a 2.4 sec 60 ft......

I guess i should rephrase, 60ft was decent. I would like to see high 1.4s, but that may take better torsions, and i don't really want to stiffen it up back there.

I ran on M&H 6x26 slicks. It never spun them, i just had a hard time getting the car out of the hole if i remember right. Kept bogging off the line.

Update time...
Well, its been a long "winter" of upgrades, but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel! It fired for the first time under MS3-Pro power Friday. I have been chasing little bugs ever since, but am finally getting close to where I want to be. A key ingredient to the install showed up Monday, and I was able to get it in and tested for function this afternoon.

This is the Mini Cam Sync from Mario at http://www.thedubshop.net. It performed perfectly on the first attempt at a start up, achieving full sync very quickly, allowing the engine to run full sequential fuel and coil on plug for spark. I already had a solution that allowed for sequential control, but this new part from Mario makes for a much cleaner install, and is purpose built for the job. Kudos to thedubshop for thinking outside of the box and coming up with great new products in our tiny market!

I just need to get a few more little things done and then we should be back on the road. I hope to get the car to the track a couple times this year. Hopefully everything plays nice from here on out.

The new Ms3-Pro requires the use of an external map sensor, I initially bought a cheap ebay 4 bar one for $40. But with stuff like that, you get what you pay for, it came with no calibration data, and the seller couldn't provide any. I borrowed a friends gm 3 bar to get the car fired and running, but didn't want to pay the $70 or so to buy a lame-o 3 bar setup. So i started doing a little research and discovered that usable map sensors aren't rocket science to build. So thats what i did, i bought a 4 bar absolute pressure sensor, gutted an old Kia map sensor, installed my new pressure sensor, made the internal connections needed to use the nice sealed plug and that was that. I plugged it into the car yesterday, input the datasheet info into tunerstudio, saw that it gave a good reading at ambient, and then fired the car. It worked perfectly. After that i pulled it out and filled it in with RTV. All told, i now have a 4 bar map sensor, in a smaller package than a gm style, i have real data to tune it with, i built it myself, and it cost me less than 1/4 of what i would have to pay to buy it retail. It took about an hour to build.

This is before the RTV was added

I am fan. I like it much better than the MS2. I have the ecu doing a lot more than an ms2 setup can at this point. The laptop free datalogging is a very nice feature, as is the usb connection. Those two things alone justified the added cost in my eyes.

Chip posted this on Facebook last year I think. Since he no longer has an account I asked him to post this video back up on YouTube.

It gives me the warm and fuzzies.

Gosh I wish this thing was driving right now! Anyone have a good solution for the fittings that adapt metric brake fittings to 1/8" NPT on a hurst line loc? I can't seem to find anything right now.

Yeah, I just went through that. What I did was get npt to metric 10x1 adapters from CB.

So it goes 1/8 NPT on the line loc female. The adapter is male npt to female bubble metric female. This allows standard standard brake lines to fit.

It is all on my facebook page. :p I didn't notice you left...

Scratch that. On the line loc I did 1/8 NPT to AN-3 on one side, and flared my own on the other end.
