For us Americans who don't know Newton Meters and Bars...
1100 Newton meters are 810.7 Ft/lbs.
And
3 bar=45.511 PSI
4 bar=58.015 PSI
5 bar=72.518 PSI
6 bar=87.022 PSI!
Wow 87 pounds of boost sounds insane!

Tony,
I guess you are right about 6000-9000 rpms. I would probably see that once or twice. However, mine is going into a 'street'/everyday driver and I don't care about keeping it revved up. If I can run all day at 3000-4000 rpm, then I am going to be very happy. I think my car will be happy also. Like I said, I might like to auto-x a couple times a year and I might run the 1/4 mi a few times in a few years. It will be traveling 3-4 hours one way to car shows 6 to 8 times every year and hopefully driving 10-11 hours one way (Interstate all the way) to visit Mom and Dad in N.C. a couple times a year. Most of the time, I will be buzzing around here driving A1A with the top down enjoying a good cigar and sunshine/warm evening with a friend. I will probably put 20,000 to 30,000 miles per year. Not too sure how many people drive their cars that much, but I would guess that the 'high' revvers don't.

Man, Indy cars are down to 2 liters now? I thought they all ran near 60psi boost. I really love the diesel tractor pulls. THAT is some serious boost. I heard once way back that the thrust from the Indy cars exhaust was enought to propel them to 60mph. I want diesel truck races on TV. I loved watching that overseas. Water injected brakes and steaming tires! I forget what that fuel is called but its a three letter acronym for synthetic diesel that they used. I think its got some advantages especially the for the insane rail pressures they were using. Wonder how numb the drivers Arsh got from the rattling transferred thru that lightweight chasis.
