This will all fit in the engine bay?

How much does marty charge for that intake setup?

Thanks, And yes anything will "fit" if i make it fit... Its not all going to be in the bay.

You can ask Marty that question. You get what you pay for.
Oh I am sure it wont be cheap but it is so purdy....

I have a 65 I am doing so I will keep my eyes on this post.
Hope he gives you a good price on that car you're doing.
I sure hope so... this guy Matt and Dave are doing the work. Its coming together so I just need motor ideas now.
Going turbo?

Looks Sweet!

Are you going to run that large pully with the porsche fan? I ran a normal power pully size on my 2332 turbo with an 11 blade fan and its temps were very stable. Oil temps around the 170-180 mark.

It starts life as an S&S, and then 1 hour of "fine tuning" and it looks like that.

so what are you doing for the turbo drain, I don't quite see how you are going to run it.

other than running a scavenge pump somehow? just wondering.

your new setup is SICK  just make sure you save some money for new tires

Make sure you put some sharpie marks on the pipes, just in case the tacks break. I learned this when I worked on my car and header in seperate places, lol.

Are you going to muffle?

And a question for Marty: when working with intake plumbing, do you prefer steel or aluminum? Also I assume the ceramic coating is so that heat soak is minimized?

I prefer steel, mostly due to the flexibility of fabrication and stregnth.
Yes I like to coat everything I can to control heat.

but why silver? you and i both know it cooks off w/ turbo use. black ceramic is rated 2-300*degs higher depending on mfg of coating.

i wont use silver on any turbo items unless it's intake or the customer HAS to have it. Do you have some secret silver you use?

Because thats what they want. It will dull at tight bends and at the collector under "higher" boost applications, but...... I have not had many people want to black.
They think it looks too much like rattle can.
The intake NEVER dulls.
They can have it pink for all I care.

is there a problem with NOT watercooling the turbo?
Obviously they were designed for water, I am trying to work out a little loop with radiator for just te turbo (GT2871). Does it really need it? Marty?
