lets see those dashs!

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Copy Cat
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

A duck's quack doesn't echo, and no one knows why.

A duck's quack DOES echo...just like every other sound known to man...it's just not as noticeable.
And I'm not going to involve a duck when I make my tilt wheel.

Man, this forum is getting dangerous. It's becoming more and more difficult to stick to my low budget. That there is one nice dash. Two snaps and a roundy round!

The adjustable mount I bought, but could be easily made. When I priced out the parts it was going to be around $30.00. To buy one already made is around $125.00

Also, the toggles on the top of the dash are from left to right:

Horn
Turn Signal
Running Light/Headlight
Front Hella 4000 Compacts (On Bumper)
Top Outer Hella 4000 (EuroBeam)
Top Inner Hella 4000 (Pencil Beam)
Amber Light/Side Strobes
Dome Light
Hazard

The toggle by itself goes to an electronic audio switch to select between the Ipod Nano and Sirius Satellite Radio

The two knobs on the dash... one controls the music volume through the headsets and the other will control music volume through the external speakers.

Other stuff... Lowrance 540C GPS, Ipod Nano Billet holder, Headset/Intercom control head, ICOM 8000 race radio, blah, blah, blah

Wow Desertguy! That is one awesome dash! You should post pictures of the rest of that rig. I bet everyone would like to see it.
Boy do I feel like an idiot. I was just on your build thread. I've been there before, but a while ago. Sorry I didn't connect the two. Looks like you've already posted pics of the rest of the car.

Buy the way, It is UNBELIEVABLY NICE.

I just saw one of these Saturn dashes and like the lay out. I might just have to copy it as far as the layout of the gauges .

Have you drived one of these saturns? My fiance has one and i dont like it. It makes it hard to really see the gauges if you are watching right in front of you. If they are more in front of you, it is easier to see both.

Well that might be true if you have tunnel vision. I see your point, but I have peripheral vision.
