So, if you turn up the boost and instantly strip a rocker pedestal nut. What happened? Backed up pressure? The nut could have been fatigued. Pretty sure it was a German nut. Good news, could have been worse.
My guess is it would be the fault of the nut. I have tons of boosted miles and never had that issue.
I'm using the outer springs on the CB650 duals.
Do you always torque those nuts?? I torque most every nut on the engine except maybe the nuts holding the cooling tins.

I’m still trying to figure out how, all at once. I blew the rock shaft off, blew out an intake boot and the electric fuel pump stopped working.
I pulled over, turned up the boost. Took off and it went to 19lbs and boom. I limped home with a miss and noticed I had zero fuel pressure. The electric pump under the tank is seized.
I already changed engines and going n/a dual carbs and new low pressure electric pump.
Not done playing with turbos.

The pump may be the cause rather than a symptom. It may have quit, causing a nasty lean out or backfire situation that caused the gasket to blow out and broke the rocker shaft. I'd definitely dig deeper before putting a few new parts on and reinstalling. Good luck!
