Hi,my name is Mario and i come from Croatia. I have a '66 beryl green notchback. Last winter/spring i swaped out my old 1600 single port,for a type4 2.0 CU engine. Nice completely stock engine with dual PDSIT-s. It''s a good upgrade,but looking for a bit more hp. And that's why i came here,to get as much advice as possible

Hello, thanks for letting me join the forum. I have a 64 Baja Bug with a GE coded T4. I'll be asking questions about noises this particular engine is making... I think it's lifters. Hydraulic right?

Howdy,
Fred in Florida here. I have a 73 Bay window bus I'm working on rebuilding the engine and getting it back on the road after sitting for almost 20 years. She's a little crusty but a very solid bus. I have the 1.7L engine and I'm going to see what a good combination is to hop it up a little while i'm in there. I have not rebuilt a type 4 but I recently rebuilt a 1641cc beetle engine recently and it runs. It a fun little car. (71 super beetle.) If you have any advice on an engine combination on a budget please let me know your input.
