I pass you frequently. I thought man I got to hook up with him so I can see his thing.
Does anyone know their saginaw steering boxes? I am working on a front end version using a swing set and Saginaw box. I am still in the early stages but was thinking a manual box with a decent sector shaft.

Denny came over to play today. Got one off the Jig and will get the other one up to this point in the morning. Then some cutting on the body and mounting. I have the spindles to weld up and then its on to the arms. Hoping to move along now.

Who's rear arms are you going to use? Desert dynamics? That rear mount looks just like how they do it on their cars. Nice work. I'm anxious to see how a fulltube chassis turns out compared to PD's car.

As of now, it looks like the rear arms will be built in house by the resident Expert rear arm builder Getrdone.dezertryno wrote:Who's rear arms are you going to use? Desert dynamics? The arms are going to have to be custom since the torsion is also. If compared to stock they would be like a 8x5. They, like the front, will get a permanent fixed jig. The second frame is built and we cut up the body. It is amazing how much the front and rear tin weighed. I cant get over how much larger these seem compared to a bug. Next post should be some front parts since thats where we heading now. Then rear arms. I am beginning to think I can hit 2250lbs.

Whaaa? 2250, that's a bit optomistic don't you think?

Whoa, is that a shot of the whole car? I thought we were just going to get close ups of pretty components until you guys start testing.

By that math I think I could guess at 6'3" and 38" waist I should come in at 160 lbs?Whaaa? 2250, that's a bit optomistic don't you think?
