I don't think the deck lid is going to work out, at least not like this.

heh.. you could route your exhaust out of your weber window
think standard stand offs will do the trick, or is it going to take some custom touches?

I don't think stand offs will be enough.......maybe 4"-6" worth of extension will get it on there. Where there's a will, there's a way! If that doesn't work, There may be some 'lightening' going on.

Can you stuff the carb farther back into the right corner, and use a 45-degree elbow to between the carb manifold and the turbo?

An SU carb would be a much better choice for packaging reasons...

I'm not changing carbs Nick.
I thought about trying to 45 it in there, but I'm not convinced it would be enough. I'll make it work.

It's not too late for injection, and I know you could make it look purdy with all those tubes and hoses you got access to.

I know you just put it there, but you could gain a little moving the fuel pressure reg.

Maybe he was thinking relocating the fuel-pressure gauge (though I doubt it's standing tall enough to interfere with the shroud any more than the carb is). However, I also vote for angling the carb back towards the front corner of the engine bay. Very clean looking build, BTW.

Yes, Sorry I meant fuel pressure gauge. It looks like it is sticking out the farthest where the decklid is curving back towards the body.

If you look at the 90* fitting it's threaded in to, it's going to hit that if the gauge isn't there. So really the lid will only go down another 1" or so. I may look into the 45* thing.... we'll see.
