Congrats on the gauges, they're not much fun to fix are they?
I recommend 4-point harnesses, unless you've got a seat that has a hole for the 5th point and you plan on racing regularly.
Recaro, Corbeau and Sparco are great brands just off the top of my head.

Is it physically or technologically possible to dual super charge my VW beetle engine?
i see videos on youtube of single super charged Beetles, but not dual.
a friend of mine told me its possible to do that to any engine. dunno if he was right or not.
btw i noticed your battery was in the back by your engine. if it were to spill or come out due to weather conditions... the battery acid wont eat through the fiberglass body will it? cause if not i'll place mine in the back.
btw, ever figure out what our cars are worth?

It is both physically and technologically possible though I'm not sure why you'd want to. Twice as many pulleys, more places for failure, superchargers are expensive, and you'd probably destroy your engine.
Turbo charging is the easiest because a lot of 4 cylinder cars have turbos. you can just copy someone's turbo config.
That being said I love superchargers and prefer them. You can probably pick up a supercharger for a vw jetta/golf/corrado and rig it up without much work.
The VW G60 (G-Lader) Supercharger is probably good for you since it's for the 1.8 liter G60 engine which should be plenty for yours. I've got a 2.3 liter engine so I'd probably need one from a VW VR6 engine.
A quick ebay search yields:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VW-G60-S ... 3cb1c5b4ce
I've never spilled a battery so I wouldn't worry about it. I have almost no body roll either so I'd have to flip the car.
No idea how much our cars are worth. I got mine from a barn... They're so rare and so customizable it probably depends on what each car is equipped with. I'm sure fully assembled and running well at least 10k.

his scruffy aluminum should be polished like mine.
also, i elect for a new steering wheel style.

It's a Hottie.
But, i Inspire to create the coolest one of all.. eventually!

Re: Does anyone else out there have a Fierro 600?
Hmm, maybe they're worth more than I thought.
I think I found where our cars designer got some of his inspiration. check out the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, it has a lot of similarities to ours. Aside from the obvious similarities like the lights, front intake, and fenders, look at the center console with the hand brake and shifter. Then the interior rockers and recessed floors + the door handle and opening lever. Look familiar?

Also take a look at the rear hatch glass, grill at the back, and how short its ass is. I think our cars designer took a lesson from Alfa and made it work with a rear engine config.

Re: Does anyone else out there have a Fierro 600?
one day i'll round out the front end like the silver car.
i might also cut the rear bumper off.
im not a fan of it. I'll just make the back end look like.. instead of this

more like this:

or if i keep the bumper.. i'll do this type of rear

and i also want to make some body slits on my front hood and side of car like this:

I totally agree! I hate that bumper. The biggest problem really is getting the exhaust to look right. It's really hard to find merged exhaust that doesn't hang out another foot past the back. I wonder what my exhaust would sound like with a straight pipe after the merge instead of a muffler. Cutting it may also look funny because of the empty flat space where the bumper is now.

Re: Does anyone else out there have a Fierro 600?
well if i were to cut it off i would fiberglass some sort of new rear end.
i dunno how hard these things are though. even if i never kill the bumper i still think it would look incredible with just a new butt.
by that i mean, no square tail lights and big GT40 look a like tail lights. maybe with a rear black grill (like on that Ford GT40) space where my license plate would go too.

Yea, I'm trying to find round lights right now. If you see anything that'd work let me know. I think the biggest problem seems to be getting big ones. 4inch ones are pretty common

Turns out gt40 tail lights was relatively fruitless search. But I did dig around online and found some great stuff. Check this out.
Stafford Vehicle Components has an awesome selection of taillights. Big, small, inner and outer ring style, mix and match, etc. This is probably where I'll put together a new set. Now that I have so many options I'm not really sure what I want anymore.

Oh, Holden has a good selection of racing mirrors. Your mirrors already look nice, but mine are kind plain so I'm thinking about replacing them. Do you have convex or flat glass?

Re: Does anyone else out there have a Fierro 600?
This is the closest i could get to the GT40 tail design.
http://www.pmlights.com/products.cfm?cI ... 5#M817CR-3
or
http://www.pmlights.com/products.cfm?cI ... 7&pId=2814
now my next step is to call up a ford dealer in Cali or FL (where i know they'll have a GT40.lol)
and i'll ask how much are replacement tail lights for the car itself.
i figure if i would ever be willing to spend 3-500 on freaking speedometers why not these legitimate gt40 tail lights?
and i mean the tail light style from the picture (silver 2006 model gt40) above.
not those old 60s hamburger style tail lights.

Re: Does anyone else out there have a Fierro 600?
Yea, Ford dealership might be our best bet. If I go with the LED solution from Stafford, I was thinking of using the inner-outer ring style like the gt40 but with two lights on either side. I was thinking the outer rings on all 4 lights (two on each side) would be tail/breaks, the inner parts would be turn signal and reverse lights. Have the white reverse lights closer to the license plate and the amber turn signals toward the outside.
