quick sale might be legit, but he is spamming all the classifieds w/ his ad, just rubs me the wrong way.

yea, me too. Just no courtesy. A user, not a contributor. It's unfortunate.

But I'm going to leave them up awhile for 2 reasons:

1. Somebody might want it.

2. We don't have a KG specific FS forum.

wow, are you guys deleting this many spammers all the time or is tonight a heavy load? I assume your slow to act cause you sleep like a normal person so I am just seeing this many for the first time.

We get spammed every day. It's an open forum. Anybody with an email address can register and post. Most spammers are bots that have learned to get through the security.

I catch every one of these. You may see some from time to time. Just means you are online before I am. I'm here 365 days a year. I delete spammers every time I'm online. About once/twice a year, I miss one. If a spam post is 48-72 hours old, please report to me or a moderator. Otherwise, please just cruise on by.

This will lower my workload. Thanks.

No, thanks. I will find it. I review every new post and every new user. You guys doing this, while appreciated, just creates more work for me.

If you find what you consider a really dangerous or offensive post, delete it and report it to me.

If you find a spam post older than a day or two, please report. It means I missed it. So far, this has amounted to a couple of times a year. It's almost always a spammer who registers but does not post immediately. They come back in a week or two and post. This is much harder for me to catch.

When in doubt, report.

Let's see how it goes. Never even consider that i don't appreciate the assist.
