Finally got the engine running again after I had the cylinders honed as there was still some left-over damage from the oil starvation before. Nice even compression on all cylinders now
very nice sound. but sounds a litte hard or is it just me?
lets see what it can to on the road under boost and how far it will spin in rpm
take care of it i wanne see it end of the month!

Some quick, last minute dyno testing today as someone else cancelled their appointment
Thats 20 psi for the us-readers and about 160 crank-hp from 5000-6000 rpm
Still not running right as I think their is some electrical interference still, but gained lots of valuable info today

That's impressive!
What turbo are you using Wally?
I'd be interested to see what kind of fuel consumption you see once tuned and driven "normally".
Small displacement turbo engines ftw!

133HP/liter
and there is more in it.

150hp at 4900rpm...how many displacement and how good heads do i need to have this in a N/A engine?
<3 turbo!
so let it rev and make the 200!
1 week to go walter.

Wally, do you run the little mouse engine in a closed loop configuration?

Yes, always.
Many tuners don't do that, so I know there is controvery about that.
Just installed a bigger turbo
I always love to say that It was to be disposed of as it was said to leak oil past its seals. Not in my car anyways so it was free
Needed to give it about 5% more fuel, so I think it must have a few hp more now
and it still lives.
Two days now...and counting.

I know but look at it the other way around, what is the point of buying a modern ECU if it can't run the engine by itself?
In a high boost application I can understand that some might choose not to trust the auto tune.

So why the question if you have a strong opinion about the subject already?

And I wrote: I know. And continued by saying that I do not see the point of buying a ECU if it was not for the fact that it is capable of running a engine by itself aka auto tune aka closed loop.
Not sure why you consider that a strong opinion?
