M-spec at its BEST --- -- Picked up the rest of my intakes from Marty today and had to rush home and see what they looked like on the engine

Brand New M-Spec's --- these are so cool -- -- Thank's Marty, worth every penny

Geeeeeez -- -- 11am and it is already 100* today --- got the car setting on all four and decided to roll it back out of the garage and check it's stance, make sure I hadn't screwed anything up, and to clean the garage under the car to get ready for phase 2 --- took a couple of pictures to prove I'm working on it LMAO

Those Porsche teledials look great, are they 6 or 7" ? any clearance issues?

7" and had some 15mm spacers made -- 205 up front 225 in the rear -- so far so good

I believe I've got the front trunk area mocked up just about where I want it -- -- Ordered a few more Fittings, like a 180* -10 at the far end of the fuel pump, to clean it up.... Need to finalize how I'll mount the battery box, you can just see the top of it..... kind of playing with a few ideas in my head still .. ..



Have been very uncomfortable with the release latch mechanism for the hood and have been afraid to close the hood LOL -- was talking to Lance yesterday and he thought of using a parachute release lever and a morse cable .. .. Damn .. that sounded so cool, so those parts were ordered. Thanks Lance

Damn car is still to slow, got one of the doors blown off it yesterday, soooo it's back up on jack stands for more modification -- -- LOL

Crazy day at work --- working near Blythe CA at a solar plant being built, (this 300+ miles a day of commuting and getting up at 2am everyday is killing me) -- average rainfall is -3 inches LOL --- the site has had 8 inches of rain in the last 2 days -- left at 9am today and there was 8 - 12 inches of water over the entire site including the roads --- one of those days I wished I had a giant 4x4 truck LOL



Anyway .. I got home at noon and did some work on the Ghia. Next up is installing the exhaust and turbo so I can do the final pipe with the POV.

Todays installment -- going to have to reclock the compressor side about 23-30* -- no biggie, but will have to wait until this weekend

I love it when a plan -- no matter how feeble -- comes together

If I would stop changing chit I would propbably be done by now LOL --- redid the gauges in the dash today and starting to get the wiring figured out --- just need to hit it hard -- too hot and too tired from working in the heat -- weak-ass I know LOL

Looking at your fan housing, once you're up and running you'll be able to tell us how well it cools.

I have no experience with that type of housing, and have been told they do not cool well, but we get lots of hearsay.

Experience is what counts.

It helps that he has super cooling ARPM siamese finned cylinders and angle flow heads. Those things run cool even with center mount shrouds it is said.

I like the old intake from a flow standpoint, but the new injector placement is better.

Ha Ha HA -- you guys kill me -- E85 is the answer to all your questions LOl -- However like anything you buy you can always make it better -- the shroud (and cylinders and heads) worked perfectly for years on a buggy but I had concerns about when it was installed into a full body car -- so I had three scrappers/fins/deflectors (whatever) welded into it to pull (scrape) the air away from the fan and direct it at the cylinders and heads -- something like what Pauter did inside his shroud on his 3400cc street car

I believe they are a rear VW disc -- theycame with the car and use the Ghia pad
