Re: Poor guys Thangs
It's almost the whole car. we did chop out quite abit. I think that we decided that it would be best if we could just lower the body onto a finished chassis. Now to mock up the front end and see if we can lower the body abit. It is sitting abit high. These cars are really big in comparison, like Getrdone said. I think with a modest rear bumper we measured out to near 14 feet front to rear. Once everything is mocked up we will have a better idea of what we need to chop out of the other car, that one should go conciderably quicker.

The amount of thought going into it and the quality I am sure the final product will be impressive. I just hope my car is running by the time these get going.

You should be in the clear, as I am really broke. We have just about all of the material we need for the frames and suspension, the rest will have to come in time. And since the wife says I cant sell the baja, she may just may need to pick up a second jobProjectile Motion wrote:The amount of thought going into it and the quality I am sure the final product will be impressive. My car measures out around 14' in length too... that doesn't sound that big to me.

I don't always show my signature. But when I do, it's in this area.

When I grow up I want to be just like Dessert Guy!

Still need the steering arms and internal gusset. I'll get them all to this point first. Then time to start welding arms!
