We have "all but" closed escrow (signed final papers, and should have the keys by monday) on a home in Poway... It needs love... but 2 car garage and approx 20x60ft of RV parking...
.... about time too... its only been 6 f@#$#ing months worth of looking and putting in offers......
i'll post pics of the bajas new home as soon as I have a key to the front door..
Congrats MB, coming right along ya are. Let's see pics of the Garage.

Behind that door there will be many a' fabricatin and wrenchin adventures... the first of which is finsihing that 53'... but soon thereafter... the bug gets some lovin...

yeah...I see the wife's car being parked in there.
My wife tried to pull that 's'.... That's where the motorcycles are parked.
Even moved the washer and dryer out of there....built a laundry room for her. Do whatever it takes man...

After the torsion bars, I just don't know if I can help you out any more... I just sold a set last month that had less than 6k miles on them (bought new, and studded in the "famous" counterbore thread). You just never seem to speak up at the right time. Maybe you just got really lucky with those SAW bars... and the payment didn't last that long either!

I missed this part.... SAW bars??? payment??? what happened?

Alright... so with the house stuff going on, I won't have time for much upgrading of the car before this season.. so I'm stuck doing a sort of halfassed backyard baja "prep" for this season...
I'm needing:
* type III rear drums/shoes/ and hardware
* a fuse block from DelCity and a rewire job...(nicely this time...)
* readjusted shift linkage on the 002... (need to acutally cut the heim off and reweld...)
*4 new shocks...
*Fresh ball joints up front and some hook stops...
I'm considering:
* some bolt on 3x3's and use the 14inch stroke 2.5 bore triple-bypass SAW's that I have just sitting around..... I know, I know... I have bigger plans eventually anyway.. but if I find a deal on 3x3's... they'd be fun for this season, and I could sell em' off later...
...and the only parts i'd need to buy would be the 3x3's and then drive axles as I already have the type II CV's that I could make work...
Whata' you guys think?

3x3's with a ball joint beam? I don't think you would like the way that felt at all...
