Update time, engine electrical is completely, exhaust and o2 installed, fuel filter/regulator installed. I'm currently going through the carbs and have 2 sets of idf's, one has f7 emulsion tubes and the other has f11's anyone know which is better? This weekend will be break in time I'm so excited! Nate - Looks good, again. If you haven't done it, you may want to check the rod angles and connection points at the carb as it will impact the distance and rate of 'throw'. I ran the same bell crank linkage and had to redrill the mounting points on the linkage arms/idle stops so the carbs remained synced from idle through full throttle. Also, I had the ball-ends on the upper side at the bell crank to lessen the rod angles.

Thanks Mike I'll definitely be getting it as close as I can its actually for kadrons but didn't feel like buying yet another linkage.lol I have a few idea's on how to modify it to make it better so far its pretty even and both carbs hit wot at the same time but the angle on the ball joints isn't the best but far from binding

F11s are better on the street, use those.

Its alive! Rebuilt the carbs, made some "jet doctors", primed the oil and fuel systems and had my dad over to turn the key for me. Ran it up to 3100 for a half hour and couldn't help but blip the throttle a few times on the second video:) I've got a couple oil leaks I need to seal up, install the inner valve springs, re-adjust the rockers and put the rest of the car together to put some miles on it! It sure was nice to hear it run after all that work:)

Hope everyone has been staying safe and healthy with this coronavirus! Well I finally had my first drive around the neighborhood and I am very pleased even though it needs to be tuned I love the eagerness to run this motor has:) I tried making my own air filters but they must be to restrictive cause it would barely run and just billow out the black smokeImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Looking and sounding good, Nate! How did you make the 'jet doctors'? Just some copper tube and o-rings? I've considered adding the kits from CB to my IDFs, but never got around to it
